UPDATES ON H1N1 VACCINE 11/09/09

 

Dear Families,

I wanted to thank all of you for completing the consent forms for the H1N1 vaccine. The Hudson County Health Department has not received the vaccine yet. They hope that the vaccine will be available by late November. They are requiring their own version of the parent consent in a three copy format.

Tips for staying healthy this winter

Dear Families,

 

Watching the weather is just a part of the job for child care providers. I now have a weather index chart from the National Weather Service to help in determining when

it is best to have recess inside. Just a reminder that in the winter months please pack clothing, boots and hoods/hats/ muffs that provide the best coverage.

 

Healthy Food & Snack Choices

This is a friendly reminder to send your child to school with two healthy snacks packed in his or her lunchbox everyday: one for morning snack-time and one for afternoon snack-time.

H1N1 (Swine) Flu Update

Dear Families,
As you all know there had been much talk and concern about the upcoming flu season and the effect the anticipated H1N1 strain 
(Swine Flu) will have on it. As always, a good defense begins with a good offense and, as a precaution, we are taking preventative measures from the beginning of the school year.
