Patricia Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts in Painting at Rhode Island School of Design. As a practicing artist, she continued to make art in a private studio and exhibited her artwork while also working as a professional chef in NYC. During this time she was recognized as one of NYC Top 100 Chefs, was a guest chef at the James Beard House numerous times, and organized and participated in many fundraisers. While at home raising her two children, Ms. Kelly was the President of the Parent Teacher Student Organization from 2004 to 2006 then served as a Trustee of the Elysian Charter School from 2006-2010. In 2012 Ms. Kelly returned to school to pursue her Art Teaching Certification and a Graduate Degree in Studio Art. In 2014 Ms. Kelly completed her K-12 Art Teaching Certification from New Jersey City University and is in the process of completing her Masters in Studio Art with a focus on Printmaking. In her free time Ms. Kelly swims, practices yoga, and spends time with her family.
