Founding Board Chair Howard B. Radest lent us his wisdom and experience as founding board chair for our first years. He was the former Director at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School, New York, and a renowned Humanist, moral philosopher, educator, author, and ethicist. He enjoyed visiting weekly, and all the students knew him. He gave endless insight to board members, teachers, and the principal. We remember him.

Nia Armstrong is a 10+ year resident of Jersey City and a proud TECCS parent.  Nia is currently Vice President, Advertising Sales at a boutique digital advertising firm.  With a career of 20 years in advertising and marketing, she has been instrumental in creating custom advertising solutions for large ad mid-size companies, recently with a focus on the financial industry.   She continues to be a leader in the financial services marketing industry and the community with involvement with community and industry related boards.  Nia holds a Cum Laude Bachelors Degree in Political Science from City University of New York, York College.

Mike Riccio

Mike Riccio is a professional designer and artist, classically trained with a BA in both Painting and Sculpture. He has made a living as an artist for the past 30 years, working for commercial enterprises, private collectors, world renowned museums, and many cultural institutions. He is currently The Director of Technical Design for one of the largest specialty fabricators in the country, working on projects throughout the nation and across the globe. He is happy to state that he is a resident of Jersey City for 20 years and the proud father of 3 TECCS students. For the past 10 years Mike has been an active TECCS community member and a firm believer in its mission to make Ethical awareness and practice part of the everyday educational discourse of its student life.

Tarun Mundarth is a Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he focuses on real-time applications’ system analysis, design, development and support on various technologies. An avid cyclist and runner, he also teaches yoga. He is the parent of a child at TECCS.

James was born and raised in Jersey City.  He currently serves as the Chief Diversity Equity & Inclusion Officer at Cole Schotz. James is an employment attorney who practices in New York and New Jersey.  James earned his B.A., with honors, in Psychology and Journalism & Media Studies from Rutgers University and earned his juris doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law.

Anna currently serves as the Vice President for Human Resources at Hudson County Community College, a position that engages, collaborates and continuously works with our community partners in Jersey City and the greater Hudson County area. Striving for the continuous commitment to public service and policy, social justice, and diversity, equity and inclusion in employment and education, Anna has built a varied and rewarding professional career. She has over twenty years of professional experience in human resources, compliance, legal and financial services, nonprofit management, and higher education.

She is currently pursuing a PhD in Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. Most proudly, she is a mom of two.

Nate Brzozowski is a Senior Managing Director at Savills, an international commercial real estate advisory firm. Nate is a 15-year resident of Hudson/Essex counties and has served on the Family Service of Morris County’s Young Executives Board, participated in Newark YEA! Young Entrepreneurs Academy and the All Star Project of Newark as a mentor. He aslo regularly volunteers at the Food Bank of NJ.

Nate is a member of the inaugural cohort of the Harvard Business Analytics Program and a licensed real estate salesperson in both the State of New York and the State of New Jersey. He has also been designated to the NJBiz ‘40 Under 40’ in 2021.

Jessica de Veyga

Jessica de Veyga has worked in higher education since 2008. She currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Faculty Affairs for the School of Engineering & Science at Stevens Institute of Technology, handling all faculty-related matters within the largest of the four schools at Stevens. Her previous higher ed experience is in research administration, in the areas of both pre- and post-award administration. Jessica earned a Bachelors degree from Seton Hall University in Marketing, as well as an MBA from Montclair State University with double concentration in Management and Marketing. Jessica joined the TECCS family in 2010 as the Board Clerk.
