Principal

My name is Chloe Lewis and it is my great privilege and honor to be selected as the new principal of The Ethical Community Charter School I couldn’t be more proud to support and serve The Ethical Community Charter School. It is my goal to continue the wonderful things that are taking place at TECCS and to provide an atmosphere of openness and collaboration among staff, students, and families. Over the course of my career, I have served in the capacity of Teacher, Math Supervisor, Curriculum Supervisor, Vice-Principal & Principal for a total of over 14 years of experience. Collectively, these opportunities have instilled in me the belief that all students deserve access to a high-quality instruction. 

My vision, as the principal, is to ALWAYS put kids first! I believe that all students can learn. As educators, we need to discover how each child learns and differentiate our instruction to support diverse learning styles. In a collaborative effort, we want children to thrive in all ways possible. My hope is that all children will LOVE school and nurture a learning environment that is positive, safe, warm, caring, as well as a fun place to learn and grow. 

In these unprecedented times, TECCS has demonstrated perseverance and resilience. Both my personal experience and research have confirmed that students are able to achieve more when they are supported by educators that believe in their potential; work collaboratively and have caregivers that are proactive in their support.
